Funny Question!!!

Hey everybody, so I finally realized how absolutely funny it is that I keep getting E-mails from people asking me how I have a kid when i'm #1 Gay, and #2 Not Married, Never been married, Never getting married!! Ok, here's the deal, when I moved home from Boise in 2002, my sister had just had a little girl, I very soon became VERY involved in her life, and since there is no father in the picture, I took over that role, and I always just refer to her as "my kid" or "my baby" its really simple, I'm the uncle/dad I love her more than life itself and would do anything to give her the world.... so yah.. thats basically it... That's how i have a kid!!!

Hey everyone, WOW time fly's by... faster and faster these days, So, I just returned from Texas, an amazing weekend trip!! I was there for the Sally Presidents Awards 2008 My little store in Chubbuck made it to the Top 10 in the Territory (that includes Utah, Nevada, Idaho, part of Cali, and Arizona) It was an amazing weeked to say the least, lots of great people, great food, and lots and lots of great memories!!! Here are a few pics from the weekend!!!

Ok, So funny story my life basically revolves around 2 things right now.... My niece (Shawna) who is my whole reason for living, breathing, and waking up in the morning.... And Sally Beauty Supply, (yes i love my job) anyway... back in June my district manager calls me and asks if I would be willing to go to Casper with her and a couple other managers and RESET and entire store.... I figured.. wtf why not.. So anyway.. fastforward to the first of August... My store is doing very well, I have an amazing Assitant Manager, its Saturday night, and we are leaving EARLY in the morning to drive to Casper, Sally's was supposed to be renting a Bigger car for us to take.. yah, that totally got messed up, and we ended up driving across Wyoming in my Boss' tiny little Scion TC yah, the little sporty 2 door!... HAHA here is where it gets interesting... Picture this... 4 hairstylist, their luggage, and them in a LITTLE car... Yah, it gets better, one of my fellow managers gets car sick REALLY easily.... So guess what.. I got to ride in the backseat... for 6 hours... Ok, so it wasn't that bad.. Suprisingly, that car has ALOT more room than it looks like... All in all it was a fun trip.. kinda a mini vacation from the day to day Sally experience... The best thing in Casper (aside from the VERY HOT waiter at Old Chicago)was a 60's "Auto/Vintage/Maltshop Restaurant that we frequented... We had a lot of laughs and Not much sleep... But it was a great experience... guess u had to be there!!!

Where do I begin?

Where to begin? Well since the biggest reason I started this was to catch up with old friends, Maybe I should start some time in June of '99 . . . . WOW, that takes me back, I spent the summer after graduation living it up in the Burg, Working at Frontier Pies, (God I hate that place) August came time to move out of my parents house, and into the Dorms at ISU. . . . I don't know about the rest of you, But I was VERY happy to be leaving Rexburg behind me. I met some amazing people there, I started as a Secondary Education Major, and soon after coming to the realization that teachers don't make ANY money to speak of, I quickly changed to Accounting. I like money, so why not right?... WRONG!!!! Yah, thank you ISU for taking soooo much of my parents hard earned money and giving me a Beautiful Piece of paper that hangs on the wall at my mom's house that I will probably Never use, yah, I eventually graduated from ISU with a BS in Accounting. But, I'm jumping ahead of life, which seems to be passing me by fast enough these days, so backtrack, 2 years at ISU found me totally sick of School, and OMG dare I say it, BACK IN REXBURG (insert loud blood boiling scream here) Yah, that was the longest 2 months of my life!!! February came, and I decided it was time to go to Boise to visit my very best friend Brad Camphouse. So off to Boise I went, Spent the weekend hanging out with Brad, Drove home on Monday and 11 days later I was moving to Boise to live it up in the (BIG CITY) HAHAH!!!! Brad and I lived together for about 6 months, yah friends don't make good roomates!!!! It was kinda a mutual thing, we were both sick of each other... But, No hard feelings... So then I moved in with a buddy that I had met and Miles Penrod.. yah, those were fun times.. I have to admit.. Miles totally was there for me when I was being dumb as fuck and drinking like a fish... (thanks Miles for carrying my ass up 3 floors at Whistler Pointe, when i couldn't walk cause my dumb ass started drinking jungle juice on an empty stomach!!) Thinking back, and having grown up, I realize why he thought it was soooo funny when i pulled that dumb shit!!! Those were good times, and I really had a lot of fun . . . But, things change, life is a bitch sometimes, and Drugs take over ur life!!! after almost 2 years in Boise, I ended up back in Rexburg (insert that blood boiling scream again) yah, I went back to ISU finished my Degree hated everything about life in General, worked some crazy jobs, and after swearing that I would never go back to Rexburg, it seemed as if I would never get out of there.... Somewhere in the midst of all this FUN in Rexburg, I finally came out of the closet... yah.. thats right, I was a huge homophobe in H.S. It was all a front, I'm totally a screaming queer!!! LOL!! Not that it matters, but Damnit. . . . I'm for once in my life HAPPY!!! Sorry Girls!!! Anyway, where was I . . . of course. . . . I did what any self respecting gay man would do, I went to Cosmetology School LOL!! Back to ISU, but this time, I was loving it!! I finished my run at COSMO school in December of 2006 While I was in school I landed a pretty fun job working at Sally's Beauty in Rexburg. After ISU, I was trying to decide what I wanted to do, I knew I wanted to go into the Retail end of it. Cause damn.. I can sell some shit!! So, I was just putting my time in at Sally's and in Feb. of 07 was offered to take over the Pocatello store. So, I packed my shit, (and my sisters and my nieces) and Off to Pocatello I went, ok, I admit, Pocatello is a hole, but Rexburg is no place for any gay man to be!!! So, that's where I'm at right now, My store moved to Chubbuck last fall, I'm just playing hard, working harder, and loving life... So yah, that basically sum's up the last 10 years of my life... What are you guys doing?
